Which battery each ZUYIYI tool is sold for, and what that means if you own DeWalt, Milwaukee or Ryobi.
ZUYIYI is a Makita 18V tool brand. It does not make a battery platform of its own in the way DeWalt or Ryobi do; it makes tools that fit the Makita 18V slide battery. Of the 48 ZUYIYI listings Amazon still serves, 21 say “for Makita 18V Battery” in the title, 10 say only “18V” but name the same BL-series packs in their bullets, 4 ship with batteries in the box, and 13 are corded or need no battery at all.

The packs the listings name are the Makita BL1830, BL1840, BL1850, BL1850B, BL1860 and BL1860B — the standard 18V LXT slide packs. Genuine Makita packs and the many third-party packs sold as Makita-compatible use the same rail. Two practical notes:
People search for “ZUYIYI DeWalt”, “ZUYIYI Milwaukee” and “ZUYIYI Ryobi” because they own one of those platforms and hope to share packs. No ZUYIYI listing claims any of them. DeWalt 20V, Milwaukee M18 and Ryobi ONE+ each use a different rail and different electronics. Adapters exist for most combinations, but they sit between two battery-management systems that were never designed to talk to each other, and neither brand supports the result. If you are on one of those platforms, buying a ZUYIYI tool means buying into Makita packs as well.
If you have no Makita 18V packs yet, three choices decide how well a ZUYIYI tool will run.
A charger has to match the pack, not the tool. Any Makita 18V charger, or a charger sold for the third-party pack you choose, will do; ZUYIYI's tools do not charge anything themselves.
ZUYIYI lists ZUYIYI 2 Packs 4.0 Ah Replacement. It was out of stock when we checked, on 2026-09-11. Where no ZUYIYI pack is in stock, any Makita-compatible 18V pack is what the listings point to.
Most are sold for Makita 18V slide batteries — 21 of the 48 live listings say so in the title. 10 more say only "18V" and name BL-series packs in their bullets.
No listing claims it. DeWalt 20V packs use a different rail; fitting one would take a third-party adapter.
No listing claims either. As with DeWalt, only an adapter would bridge them, and ZUYIYI does not sell one.
